The roadmap to re-opening

As per the announcement on the 22nd February 2021, the Government have announced a roadmap for re-opening, which we’re delighted to hear. We are planning on re-opening our self-catering lodge accommodation to guests and owners from April 12th, with the Dabbling Duck Restaurant and Bar and the Hotel then opening from the 17th May. Of course, this will need to take account of Government advice regarding Covid-19 nearer the time, so if anything changes, we will communicate any changes as soon as we can and we will ensure to update our customers as soon as we are able to open.

The safety and wellbeing of our customers and our teams remain our highest priority. We want to thank all of our guests that have supported us and until we can welcome you back to Lakeview Manor for a well-deserved escape once more, please do take good care!

Protecting your booking at Lakeview Manor with our date switch guarantee

Can I date switch my holiday if needed?

Of course! We realise that flexibility and peace of mind are really important in this ever-changing Covid world, so our date switch guarantee policy allows you to re-arrange any holiday booking you make with us free of charge should your holiday be impacted by government regulations or covid -19 related issues in your travelling party. Simply select another time this year or even move your break to 2022. The choice is yours. To re-arrange your booking, please call our team on 01404 891287.

Can I transfer any payments already made?

Any deposits or holiday payments can be moved in full to any available future date of your choice within a 24-month window and we promise there will be no additional charge for bookings in the same property moved within the same seasonal window, even if you choose to move your booking to 2022. You may even choose to move your holidays to a break with a lower value and we will refund you the difference, or a higher value in a different season and we will simply charge you the difference in cost. Feel free, too, to choose a different cottage or lodge this time, and if available, again, we will simply charge you the difference in cost. The flexibility is yours. Hotel and Lodge stays

If you have a hotel or lodge accommodation booking with us:

If you have a booking with us, your booking may have to be re-arranged due to travel restrictions imposed by the government. Our onsite team will be in touch with you directly about your booking to discuss your options.

We plan to re-open for self catering lodge stays from the 12th April 2021, and for hotel stays from 17th May pending Government advice and guidance nearer the time.

For any guests that booked a stay with us via Hoseasons or booking.com, please contact Hoseasons or booking.com directly with regards to your booking.

If you own a lodge at Lakeview Manor: as per the current national lockdown restrictions (valid 4th Jan – 11th April), residents are not permitted to visit or stay at any second properties. We ware due to re-open for self-catering lodge bookings from 12th April and we look forward to welcoming you back to stay again very soon.

If you have a dining booking with us :

If you have a dining reservation with us, we will be in contact directly to move your booking to a later date. As per the current government guidance announced on the 22nd February 2021, we plan to reopen our restaurant and bar to guests from 17th May, and we cannot wait to welcome you.
