Job Description / Requirements
The role:
We are looking for an enthusiastic person with a broad and all-round understanding of maintenance and grounds.
You should show the ability to work on your own initiative and work within an already established friendly team, a pride in completing jobs to a high standard and the understanding that we are a customer focused business. Knowledge of basic plumbing and electrics would be an advantage.
This will be a hands-on role to help maintain the accommodation and grounds. You will also be required to carry out hot tub changes / daily maintenance. A full driving licence is also required.
Job responsibilities:
- General building repairs and maintenance
- Completing scheduled maintenance tasks both inside and outside
- Conducting preventative maintenance and identifying when items need upgrading or replacing
- Painting and decorating or conducting repairs to flooring and other fittings
- Helping maintain our grounds to a high standard such as:
- Grass cutting
- Hedge trimming
- Clearing leaves
- Strimming
- Plant care
- Ensuring all accommodation units are maintained and fully equipped
- Delivering excellent customer service
- Taking care of hot tubs – draining, cleaning, refilling, handling chemicals
Part-time; 7 month fixed term contract
