The Dabbling Duck Restaurant and Bar offers a delicious menu, prepared with ingredients sourced from local Devon farmers, fishermen and suppliers. Open daily to guests and non-residents and our oak-panelled bar and restaurant with garden views brings you the perfect place to grab a bite to eat and a refreshing drink.

Got a furry friend with you? No problem, we have pet friendly areas throughout the bar and restaurant so you and your pets can enjoy some food and drink together!

Opening times

Breakfast is available from 8am-10am daily
Lunch is available from 12pm-2pm on Friday & Saturday. We serve a carvery from 12pm-3pm on Sunday
Dinner is available from 6pm-8pm from Monday to Thursday, and from 6pm-8:30pm on Friday & Saturday, closed Sunday evening
The bar is open daily and closes at 10am Monday to Saturday and 8pm on Sunday

Please be aware that closure of the Garden Room due to refurbishment will commence from 31^st March 2025.

New restaurant opening times will be as follows until further notice –

Monday – Thursday evening 5.30-8.30pm
Friday – Saturday evening 5.30-9.00pm
Sunday carvery (plated service) 12.00-4.00pm
