No one wants to see that hangdog look from their favourite pet as they set off for a few days away without them. At Lakeview Manor, you can cancel the kennels and bring your dog with you. And if you have more than one dog, that’s fine too. If they are part of the family, there is no limit to the number of dogs you can bring. Stay in one of our luxury lodges, where the dog can spot the local wildlife through the floor-to-ceiling windows and find plenty of room for a nice spot to sleep (not on the beds or sofas though!) In the hotel, book one of our pet-friendly rooms, which are every bit as luxurious as our pet-free rooms, but with room for the doggy bed. There are plenty of dog-friendly walks, attractions and places to eat and drink around Lakeview Manor.  For dog walks, we are close to the Blackdown Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and the East Devon Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty too. The coast is just 20 minutes’ drive away with plenty of dog-friendly beaches. Seaton has specific areas that you can take the dog, with some restrictions in the summer, while on the Jurassic Coast in Dorset, Monmouth Beach is dog-friendly all year round. For a day out, take a ride on the Seaton Tramway, a delightful trip through the South Devon countryside, with dogs welcome on the lower deck. Or head over the border into Somerset, to visit the Willows and Wetlands Visitor Centre near Taunton. This hidden gem tells the story of willow weaving across 200 years and gives you the opportunity to buy a holiday souvenir. Back in Honiton, close to Lakeview Manor, stop off at the Otter Inn, for a bite to eat and a drink in the beer garden. If you want a table inside, it pays to book ahead, as the dog-friendly tables are very popular.
